Sir I need to know if a unregistered partnership firm is closed , will it be a problem during background verification.I have offer leter and relieving letter from that firm. But currently when I tried to contact them there is no response. In my current company I have not disclosed that firm name as they are interested only for last 3 employers. But in future if I join any other compnay and if they ask all employment details for background verification than will it be a problem, if I disclose this closed firm name.
My salary was below taxable income in that firm and I was getting salary in cash.
Can you please suggest me if this will create any problem .I have overall 11 year experience.
I am eagerly waiting for you valuable advice
Thanks in advance.

No, it is not your fault that the previous company you worked in is closed now. It may raise suspicion though to few narrow minded people.
As you have 11 solid years of experience, you should be able to back yourself up. Be strong and be positive nothing will happen. Most of the companies will only ask for previous 2 companies for verification.

Thanks Ram for your valuable suggestion.I do agree with you. Just need to know one thing in background verification form they have asked to provide last 3 employers details. So in my case the unregistered compnay is not coming into picture as totally I have worked in 5 companies.I feel I shouldn't be giving more details in the bg check form.
