Please help me the HR in the company are of no use they don`t answer any thing.
Hi Jatin
KIndly confirm are you talking about the offer letter or salary slip. coz generally some companies show CTC directly (which included both employer and employee contribution of PF and ESI) instead of giving gross and CTC break up.
But they can not show the same in payslip. Deduction column of Payslip should have only employee contribution of ESI and PF and employer conribution should not come in deduction column.
Example given below
Income - Deductions
Basic 5000 - EPF @ 24% 1200
DA 5000 - ESI @ 6.5% 845
Other 3000 - PT 150

Total Gross 13000 Total Deduction 2195
Net paid 10805
Income -Deductions
Basic 5000 -EPF @ 12% 600
DA 5000 -ESI @ 1.75% 206
Other 1783 -PT 150

Total Gross - 11783 Total Deduction 956
Net paid 10827
