Hi All,
After gaining 5 to 6 years experience in recruitment, it becomes very difficult when one is looking out for a change or wish to explore new opportunities. Even if we get any opportunity, its seen that most of the times we have to compromise on salary part i.e the companies either offer same CTC or hardly offer 5-10% hike.
Even there is hardly any option available to shift into Generalist profile as recruitment experience is not considered while applying for HR generalist or Core HR Openings.
Are there any options available??
Please suggest

Hi Sasmita,
Even I am into the same situation in which you are now. I have 5+ years of US IT Recruitments experience.
Now that I am looking for a change, i dont understand what type of opportunities we have in domestic process.
We are not considered into Human Resources, since we have experience only in Recruitment. Planning to take up some course but I dont have proper guidence on which course I can take so that I will get a good job in a day shift.
Yes many times we have to even compromise on our salaries as we move in to Domestic process.
Please let me knwo if you come across any guidance on this situation.
You can reach me on
Thank you.

@ Shyam,
I would suggest not to look for opportunities in Domestic process because you will not get any good one and even if you get, you have to compromise with atleast 20-25% less salary then yours.
In US Recruitment atleast you can earn good salary and incentives which is not the case in domestic

these courses are only worth when you have experience into core hr,not only for recruitment.

In that case you need to join HR Consultant jobs.. you will get to Learn from starting.. then with that expereince move to MNC for the same HR Generalist role. Ofcourse you will be paid less than what you have earned so far.. but its worth time and energy...
