Hi all,
i just got a job with a finance house and i was suppose to work as a front desk officer but my boss is telling me that i have to do an administrative job.Kindly advice on what to do if i should take the job or not

In my view you should take the job, Because u will be multitasking and after that you can change your profile also. After 1 or 2 yrs, you can apply for admin jobs.

The following can be considered as duties of Admin-
- Courier Dispatch and Distribution of Inward & outward
- Ordering Groceries, stationary & other material accordingly
- Office maintenance
- Responsible for Hotel Booking, Car Booking, Train and Bus Bookings for Official Travel, Air Travel Co ordination with HO. & Conference Hall Bookings
- Complete responsibility for the front office House Keeping, Security & Office Boy
- Managing house-keeping staff, office boys, their attendance etc
- Responsible for requisition and maintenance of office equipment including furniture and fixture
- General administrative and clerical support
- Responsible for payments of bills
- Receiving postal, courier packages addressed to the employees of the organization and sending them to the addressed person correctly
- Maintaining the records of entry and exit details
