I recently attended an interview where I was asked few weird questions and one I am sharing here
Why should an organization hire female employees knowing the fact that they will take frequent leaves due to family issues, kids, maternity leave and many more?
Can someone help with the answers?
I replied him that if the organization is an equal opportunity employer then they should give equal opportunity to females and today females are equally educated and competitive when it comes to assigning work or responsibilities as compared to men.
But hearing this he said that this is a stupid answer

Dear Sasmita
Normally the Female employee will have patience, endurance and their tolerance level is much more than the Male employee. Hence they can take more workload and make less mistakes. As females gossip more than males, they can communicate any message to any level without any stress or strain.
In Middle level Female Middle Manager can tackle any situation diplomatically comparing to Male Manager.
Even in Top Level the Female employee can take wise decision and better performance than the male employee.
Hope the interviewer might have expected such replies from your end.

I will go with my Mr. Bhaskar and agreed on his response here. Also we must not forget the fact that we all have WOMAN as first manager in our families who manages us in many ways. They have all the ability even much more things then we Male have to establish themselves in this marketing and competitive world too.

I also agree with your reply to interviewer but the question what was presented by Interviewer was specially for the Married Woman which can be expected and must be answer tactfully with confidence. One and very recent and great news what what Forbes has announced on Woman World's Most Powerful Women List - Forbes | and Training 10,000 Future Women Entrepreneurs - Forbes | Forbes - Woman - Forbes.com can defend this question in well manner. please visit this link once.

We do accept that Woman has lots of family responsibilities and they take leaves but it is not all about and so true too. Today's woman has changed and they know how to manager their work and home but we cant ignore the basic needs of WOMAN either. Therefore, this must be define in well manner to interviewer by a female candidate bcz this is not just a question but there are many things behind it such as the aspiration of woman, ability and entrepreneurship and much more.

Even we all know that today our Woman became an essential part of our Business. We do have many Woman here on this place who have set a good examples for us too.

And Sasmita thanks for the writing ......you know what im talking about lolxxxx

Thanks for the response, I tried to convince the interviewer in many ways and in fact the one who was taking my interview was a Assistant Manager and the HR manager there was also a female. I even gave the same example but for every response he said that the females are not hard working, they are not sincere in their work and many negative things about female employees..
In fact I felt as if he is frustrated due to some reason and was not ready to accept any of the replies.

Yah I agree with you. He might have experienced something not good recently or it is possible that he has not good relations with his manager who is also a female. You dont worry bcz all the fingers are not same but you dont forget this incident bcz it also teaches us alot and have given you a good example and experience for your future too
One always take the interviews positively bcz with every interview we learn many things.
As he was not accepting the great involvement and value of Woman in today’s world though he has already associated with a Female Employee, she has shown his immaturity and un-professionalism even is not a good recruiter. These things made us really feel bad and also let us know how much RECRUITMENT SKILLS matters today.
You need to learn from this and move on but be ready to have this kind of question in future too.
Best of Luck dear..

Hi, the very first thing is that you have selected wrong thread/post to have correspondence on your topic/concern which is not related to title and discussion topic.

One must be careful and need to select the relevant threads while making your query/question/concern.

Second, you need to be specific or share more details first. Is that your company is gonna deduction your salary for the said days above or did you get any notice/circular or anything like they are gonna do the same or it is just a question which is running in your mind without any valid reason.

Lastly, in answer of your question I wanna say that your company cant deduction your salary for 4 days. Holidays (Festival/ Sunday/ National Holidays) never comes under paid days/leaves and there is no specific rule for that too.

The interviewer may be a stupid person to ask such useless questions. Either he might have been harrassed by his wife at his home or a male chauvnist. Pon
