Pl suggest someways to make work place exciting
Dear all i work in an environment where silence is more..people feel not a motivating or exciting environment.. i have newly joined this office and i also get this feeling some times. but being the bu hr for this unit i feel i can surely make a difference in bringing a change in this environment. can you suggest me some ways to make the work place exciting in cost effective ways?? i am visualizing a change where all employees of this organization wish to come to this unit becoz of its energetic environment.. please help.. regards janani

Dear friends one of the most important aspect palying a vital role in engaging our employees is "employee communication". our employee needs transparency and innovation in the ways we communicate with them. it also becomes very important for us to ensure that we are able to pass on the message to our employees in the best possible manner and right at first time. so i thought of taking help from this platform to get ideas from all of you as to how and what are the different and new ideas you are using in your respective organization to make employee communication more catchy and clear. lets take an example if we have a change in one of the policies at org level now one simple way to pass this on to our employees is to send an e mail to all with the policy attachment....or may be creating a tip around it...but these are very common practices...i am sure that there will be organizations doing things differently... so lets all put forward the different ways we use for employee communication and share the best practices here. looking forward to loads of ideas cheers shilpa

How to deal with problem employees at work place?
Dear sir/madam this is my first post about problems faced during hr work. well our management has decided to transfer one employee to our central unit from another unit of our organisation as per instructions we processed his joining and requested him to come personally to complete joining formalities. since 3 months we have been following him on phone emails to complete his joining formalities but till date he never showed up in hr dept. on the contrary he sent a mail blaming me for harassment miscommunication less cooperation from hrd etc. he is also tenured employee. i am new as compared to him and has less support from seniors i don t know how to deal in this situation. his false statements has created wrong image of mine and our hrd as well. it lead to dissatisfaction and negativity at work place. please guide and suggest most suitable way to resolve this matter. thanks

Hello seniors currently i am working as an hr in a pharma company. i am from communication background and completed my master s in journalism and mass communication in 2022. because of my earlier experience in ms office and my communication skills i was selected in my present company. i have 8 months of experience. i am pursuing a correspondence course in hr but i believe strong industry exposure is more important than reading theories. kindly guide me what steps i can take to polish my skills and how i can get a good growth in my career? i want to switch my company as it is a manufacturing unit and working conditions are not that good. your help and expertise are greatly appreciated. thanks and regards kriya singh
