Hi All,
Please, give ur advice on the mentioned situation. Our organization is employing 25 office staff and around 100 field staff including technicians and engineers. They are deducting PF and ESI of only some of the field employees but not of office staff. Now they are planning to deduct ESI for all the employees but not PF for all. Also, they are not providing any salary slip.
I want to know is it mandatory to provide salary slip to employees if they deducting ESI or PF?
Also, is it possible to only deduct ESI and not PF?

The ESIC and EPF is mandatory to the industries according to Factories Act 1946.As per legal and Statutory Complaisance, You do not have the option to go for ESIC or EPF. Both is compulsorily. More over it is giving benefit to employees also. So don't hesitate to provide this facilities. You Should Convince your Management.
If you are exempted when you can provide more benefit than ESIC and EPF scheme for your employee.
So it is must to give both benefit to your employees.
