Dear Seniors,
We are a meddium sized Manufacturing Company at Chakan Pune having strength of around 100 employees.
Can somebody help me to understand what is Fire NOC.
From where I can get the same?
Which Act speaks about FIRE NOC?

Dear Prashant,
The Fire NOC is nothing, but it is the License which your unit need to obtain from the Fire department (fire station) every year.
You need to submit the Filled application along with Drawing that shows the fire protecting system to obtain the license.

Dear prashant ingawale.
In maharashtra fire noc is granted by midc.
Please contact midc fire brigade office located behind hotel lemon.
In front of infosis at hingwadi. They will accept your applicaion and after detailed site visit you are likely to receive noc from their
mumbai office. Fire noc is must for all manufactruing units functioning within midc area in pune.

Dear Sir,
Obtaining NOC from Fire Dept. once in a year/6 months shows that you are equipped fully
to fight against fire. Some Customers will ask about it in case their material is involved in
process. For Renewal License also sometimes, the authorities will ask the same.
That is why follow as per necessity/requirement.
