You need to check the state rules for the same. Like in Maharashtra :
1) There is general rule for every workers to get medically examined once in a year (Rl 8-A)
2) Workers who are working on Hazardous process, medical examination should be done once in every six months.
So it also depends on the State rules. In some state rules (For Eg, Karanataka rules specifies the medical examination once in a six year even for the Canteen staff)
So you might be even like to refer it to the State rules in which the manufacturing unit is located

factory act guides for compulsory medical checkup yearly.(some hazardoud industries every 6 month}.it also enlists industries which are hazardous.hazardous industries simply means industries where some processes going on which can cause serious illnesses in workers.
now whenever company planning to conduct a medical examination certifying surgeon visits the premises of company understands the processes and then advise test appropriate for that company.so it will vary depending on manufacturing processes. so plan a discussion with certifying surgeon ask him for list of tests and proceed further.

Dear Bhishma,
Since you have engaged all Adult person in employment, there is no need to get them checked as medically. Only In case of person who are below the age 18, the certificate of fitness are required.
If any department or process involved in your organisation as Hazardous Process under the guidlines of Factory Act & State Factory Rules , Then you have check them Half yearly regarding their fitness. The main objective of act are to retain the employer free from any undue burden as well as remain employee fit.
As you have taken medical coverage of all employees , that is too good.
Thanks
