Dear All, i have done MBA with Specialization in HR and now days looking for a job as Hr Trainee but the problem is this each and every time where i applied for the same they need Experience or priority to female..
now days m much frustrated that what should i do... please advise me from whre i get experience...

this is not the gender based issue, as i see in many industries males are preferred as HR,especially in manufacturing
Dear Abhishek,
"Knock the door till it opens" goes the famous English proverb. I recommend you trying hard without losing your heart. When some opportunity will favour you that you cannot say.
If you remain unemployed for long time then you may try job in Admin or Marketing. The latter will improve your verbal communications skills and it will bring sort of boldness in you.
Getting job in HR is quite difficult. For every 100 persons on the shop floor, the company employees 1-2 HR. The ratio speaks in itself.

Dear Abhishek,
If you want to selective then suddenly you will not get proper job, so please try any kind of job first as experiment then it will be possible for you to get the right kind of job as per your thinking.

Dear Member,

Dont get worry, just try to apply Government Sector Management Trainee Jobs, then U can easily gain the experience. There is no Gender problem in Govt Jobs i think, quit difficult enter in HR Field better U try to prepare for Govt Exams. This is My thought..

Hi Abhishek,
I have now almost 1.4 yrs of exp in HR and Admin field in an IT company. I got this job after a search of 6 months. I got various job offers in BPOs, in consultancies, in event management companies as event coordinator or back end profiles. I gave up all of them, because I wanted to get into HR and in a Company. After 6 months, I got a comparatively low paying job but the experience I have is extremely good and worth the wait.
So you have got to be patient and try hard. You will find the right job for you when you are ready to take it up. It is difficult for sure. Plus normally what I see Companies want experience candidates.
If you want to work then get into a consultancy. Stay there for sometimes and then apply in Companies. But I have always suggested my friends and will suggest you too, it you do take up a job anywhere, try to stay there for minimum a year or 18 months.
I hope you get a nice job.
All the best.

why they should give piority to females? this is business whoever makes me money he/she is my best employee :)
