Hi Priyanka,
The print and media industry focuses a lot on written and spoken communication. People, who are a part of this industry need to have an extremely high level of confidence and an excellent personality.
You could conduct training programs based on:
Business Communication (Spoken and written)
Grooming and Corporate Etiquette
Confidence building sessions
If you need help you can write to me. I would be happy to help you.
My email address is :
Dear Priyanka,

Do you do printing in-house or you have outsourced it? Your training needs depend much on this factor.

To understand the real training requirement, you need to do your organisation's audit. Unless you do the audit, what you do would be superficial.

However, it requires lot of maturity of training professional to go do depth and understand the real needs. You will get many who by gift of their gab impress you and how they will do some sweeping under the carpet that you may not come to know also.

Anyway if you wish to hire my services, you are welcome. My services are paid one. However, you will get far more value than your money's worth.

There is benefit of hiring services of training professional like me. I am actual service provider and I would not outsource it further to anyone.

Thanks,

Dinesh V Divekar

Dear Priyanka,

If you do printing activity on your own then your must have production department. Whole lot of problems happen in the course of production. The production related training you can do is:

a) Lean manufacturing

b) 5S

c) Poka Yoke

Secondly, you must be maintaining inventory. Inventory of raw materials or inventory of finished goods. To management both, you need to train your staffs on the following:

d) Purchase management

e) Inventory Management

f) Vendor Management

g) Warehouse Management

h) Stores management (for managers not for storekeepers)

i) Negotiations Skills for procurement professionals

j) Evaluation techniques of capital purchases

Your business depends on getting the orders for printing. Yours is B2B product. Who gets the orders for you? Obviously salespersons. Therefore, you need to train your salespersons as well. B2B Sales training is different from ordinary salespersons' training. Normals sales training that focuses on grooming, eye contact and body language of salespersons is not sufficient here. They require specialised and customised training on sales process. But then you also need to develop indigenous sales process first. Training comes later.

Of the above list, I handle training on the topics from (d) to (j) and "Effective Selling Skills for B2B Sale". Occasionally, I come to Mumbai for my training programmes.

Send me test mail on my e-mail ID and I shall mail you details of the training programmes that I conduct.

As far as my training charges are concerned, have no worry about that. Since you will deal with freelancer directly, obviously you will get cost-effective solution.

Secondly, if you are anxious about the depth of the training then I recommend you going through the replies to various posts. My replies to scores of upcoming HR or Training professionals vindicate what I am and no further manifestation is required.

Thanks,
