Hi All,

I got the following JD of Service Delivery Manager from another thread.

Creating and periodically re-negotiating Service Level Agreements with the assistance of Sales and the maintenance line manager;

Translating customer requirements into working instructions for Delivery; creating Procedure and Agreement Documents (PAD);

Mitigating and solving escalations with urgency and determination;

Providing detailed reports as per an agreed schedule (or on request), including management and account performance reports;

Managing the transition phase of transferring the functional, technical and procedural knowledge to our maintenance and support organization;

Building and maintaining customer relationships;

Ensuring that quality services are delivered with regard to the agreed SLA.

Currently, I am doing vendor selection, vendor management, govt. license procurement, business partnerships in addition to the tasks mentioned in above list. What designation is more suitable in that case? Will my profile be considered as technical or business one?

Thanks Manjay but this seems to be very generic. I am actually looking for a job switch so what kind of profiles/designation I should look for?
Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

It’s little unusual. I will tell you my profile - 4 years as an employee in IT services 3 years as an entrepreneur in IT products 1 year with above profile in a supply chain consultancy

Manjay,
Does Program manager as a designation suits better to my profile ?
I do variety of tasks for which time-frame can't be decided.
It'll be great if you can throw light on program vs project manager.
