Need suggestion plz

Hi Sanjay,

Your confusion is understandable. In general, people think that job-hopping is a bad manner and employers may think of reputation. However, though I am an HR, let me address this as a good factor towards one's career progress.

This is good that you spent a long time with an employer and became a loyal employee. However, at the same time, you might have lost 6 other growth opportunities during this tenure. By investing a long time in an employer, you are only helping to an organization and not to yourself.

Please understand that today's market is fully associated with international business and grown at international standards, and fully contributed by young bloods who have come with highly educational qualifications. Though you may have grown with experience, understand that generations have given new shape to technology, skill sets, managerial attitude, and employee-employer relations.

From an HR point of view, I would have also done the same job as other other companies are doing (per your observation) --- looking at your age, and other factors and responsibilities linked to your age, compatibility with the existing young team, salary budget towards your bracket, etc etc.

Please do not mind on my frank opinions, however I wish you all the best for your next assignment. Today's business world is very huge than one can imagine. Please keep on trying because something good is waiting for you based on yr expectations. Don't compromise with the positions or with the brands unless you get a good opportunity. Good Luck!

Your experience and skill sets are the major strengths for yourself. After spending this long tenure, I understand that you have good contacts across your industry. There's no harm reaching all known contacts for an opportunity in your comfortable zone. Apart from this, utilize the job portals, consultants, and other personal reliable sources.
Socializing sites i.e. this website are also a good option. Just hunt, hunt, and move on.
Thanks to competition, every recruitment method is available free of cost these days. Hope you got me in these words. Good Luck.

Very well suggestions by Mr. Anil. Appreciate the approach to tackle this problem !
On other note, Mr. Sanjay, adopting the above suggestions you may look out for good opportunities outside. Wish you success in it. However, over a period of time, you may also think to start your own business/ consultancy based on your versatile experience and expertise gathered for these long years.
