I am a Post graduate in HRM and wish to start my career in HR , but is confused as to what should be my first step .. like which is the post in HR I should step in ..I get interview calls for HR executive / recruiter.. but is very much confused which field is better if I wish to make my career in HR...

I am working in a public sector company for 20years, i have completed my post graduate diploma in personnel management kolkatta in 2006.since i have been working in a technical production job but my interest is to work as personnel officer. please suggest the various options available for me to move further in pursuing my goal as personnel officer/HR professional. i am 42 years old with 2 children is it right time to move to MNC ?
