I know we need to fill form 12A, form 10 and 5 but i need to know who assigns PF account no. to new employees and what in case a new employee wants to transfer PF account from one state to another ...

Dear Ruchi
The form 12 A is filled as per the details in the challan. The remittance column is to be filled after the remittances made. The Form 12 A along with Form 5 and 10 for the month is to be submitted to the epfo before 25th.
It is the employer only who assigns epf no. to the newly joined employees. The account no. is to be given in the form no.9 in the order of date of joining.
