Hello Everyone...
i need a little bit help in drawing a organogram for my company. it consist of 70 employees. i have searched a lot on internet for different formats but none of them suits me.
like there is one Manager Accounts & Inventory he has to report to the G.M Finance As well as Director Admin there is multiple reporting.
if i use doted lines to show it then the total organogram looks horrible.

For few employees there will be dual reporting i.e. functional and admin. Therefore, there is nothing wrong as such. Manager Accounts and Inventory can report to both - GM (Finance) and GM (Admin). However, please demarcate lines clearly so that there is no confusion as such. Accounts part he can report to GM (Finance) and Inventory part he can report to GM (Admin).
There could be dotted lines in organisation chart. Multi-tasking is order of the day in 21st century. Therefore, there has to be dual reporting also.

There could be dual reporting i.e. Functional & Operations, in that case the flow of reporting along with the specific areas should be clearly defined so that communication gap could be avoided.

I have attached a file...........in my organization account officer also get approval for some particular things from Director HR (as he is owner of company) should i denote it with dotted line??
The arrangements of organogram is fine or not?

You can show the Primary reporting in Solid-line (as you have shown) and additional reporting in dotted line and indicate the functional requirement as legend (explaining the symbol used). I have added this in your chart and attached

Hello Alveena, I have gone thru your Organogram that you have attached, and yes found the same it is really looking bad. And you know what are the reason behind this, is that you have forgotten to consider the emplyee level/designation in it. Director, Manager, Operators, Engineers, Technician all are at a level which should not be consider like this and it is a big mistake in this work. One must take care of the same while drawing the Organogram which matters a lot for a Organization.
And you did the same with Department too.
Second, you have to consider the reporting Level for example who is reporting to whom- directly & indirectly.
You need to make a list of your department first as per attached sheet where i also have mentioned all the required things you need to work on and a basic structure of Organogram

I saw the organizational chart in your post but sorry i didn't like. They all are not looking professional. Well i have attached a sample form for you.
You may design yours, and I hope you will find it more professional than other.
Secondly, it good if you mention all the departments in different colours as I tried to do in mine.
