Are we trying to increase curruption in HR Faternity? The above response seems to be one step in that direction. Can’t we say the truth and accept the reality?

Hi All,
There is nothing wrong to say truth but sometimes it is difficult for others ti digest truth. If say truth, cross questioning will be start from employer side like why did u join even when you were not not comfortable with the salary etc etc.
I just want to avoid such questions thats why i am thinking to tell them other reason.

Hi Yash,
As professional it is not the right approach to tell lie. It is worth to tell the truth and make your intention clear that you don't want to negotiate. After all it is a mutual agreement between you and your employee and can be treminated with due notice. So why spoil a good relation as we are in a very dynamic environment. May be you have to meet or interact with same people at some other place also and you will have to face embarassment.
Finally telling the truth will save you of many troubles as you have to take one time pain then all things will fall in place.

Yash, for whom is it going to be difficult to digest the truth ? for yourself or for ur company ?
questioning will possibly start bcz they are right on their part as a company. nobody would want to pay somebody for 1 year and then listen that the person was not comfortable with the salary. better say the truth and leave.

Don't think too much. Any truth needs to stand the test of facts. So, if you have truth to say then face the counter questions as well. I am sure you will be able to justify your stand and reasons.

Dear Mr. Yash,
Well, one thing is clear from your post....
You can't take decisions of your life and I truly wonder, how you are going to survive in the competitive world.
Are you habitual of "SPOON FEEDING", relying on others for everything.
I suggest you, stop behaving like a INNOCENT CHILD and behave like a MATURED PROFESSIONAL. Hope, you haven't forgotten that, you are a grown up "ADULT".
With profound regards

You are thinking too much. No one has ever faced any problem because of saying the truth. They will anyways find out the truth whether you say it or not. You decide what is best for you - knowing the truth from someone else or knowing it from you. What will you do if you face the same problem in your next job...because of salaries?
