I need a thesis on competency based selection of nurses in service organization.

The recruitment of nurses in developing countries as per my knowledge has not reached to the extent of recruitment based on competence. Cost of recruitment and years of experience plays a critical role in recruitment. I would suggest you to refer John Hopkins where in they have classified nurses into different levels based on their competence. Let me also suggest that you will not find it straight forward. You need to cull out information from different sources.
This particular thesis will gain importance very soon since healthcare industry in Europe and US is going through massive transition. The Medical Tourism will get boost. The industry will start looking for "competent" candidates to retain the customers.
