hi rohan,
life is a journey full of moments and each moment enriches u with a new experience, and HR is all about understanding ppl.
No books will give u any quick fix solution to any problem specifically HR related problem that is because those are human related problems.
u need to have a positve attittude and learn to deal with human beings in a humane way... ahoy.. the battle will be won.
well about what is trg and its difference from development in my next posting tomorrow...
cheers.

Hi Rohan
As per your queries
Recruitment: - It is the process of searching for prospective employees and simulating them to apply for jobs in organisation.
Selection: - The process of matching the qualification, experience and other attributes of the applicants with the job needs and choosing the most sutiable one.
Training: - A learning process designed to achieve a relatively permanent change in an individual that will improve the ability to perform the job.
Development: - A kind of future oriented training focussing on the individual growth of employee.
I hope it would have solved your queries.
Regards
dsv
