Hi Karthika,
This is complete your own choice that where do you want to pursue your career. You are in the beginning of your career and have a scope to diversify your portfolio. Moreover, HR is not industry specific and the important aspect is that where do you want to see yourslef after some time. You may compare both the positions on the basis of the Job Profile, Companies, Future Prospects, Monetary benefits, scope of learning etc. But, choose wisely as your one decision will accordingly shape-up your career.

Hi Karthika,
Its your knowledge, capabilities and experience which take you places. Your above question calrifies that you are doubtful in diversifying your career and wants to pursue your with Corporate organisations. Talent Acquisition is different in these two different industries though the concept remains the same. Therefore, it may get challenging for you to come back in corporate as you will again be moving into different industy. Think through it and then decide.
Best of Luck !!!

Dear Mr.Karthik,

I have gone through the mails. One important I want to bring to your notice is that any where you can excel but it depends on your approach and adoptability.

In Hospital industry also there is lot of scope and now a days it is one indsutry which is going to be on the top gear. You can do lot of HR activities there, in addition to the lower level people you should also recruit the highly skilled technicians of Radiology, Pathology, Neuclear medicine etc and the Doctors also. Now a days lot of multinationals are concentrating on Healthcare industry.

You can also work on multi skilling, career planning, knwoledge development, job rotation, employee & customer satisfaction, all these things are depending on your interest and initiatives. Retention (employee & customer) is a very critical factor. You need to work very high on the employee behavior factors. Satisfaction surveys makes lot of difference for the existance of the individual & the organization.

Statutory & regulatory compliance is one more major factory because the customers expect ISO, NABL, PNDT & NAHL etc in addition to the statutory compliances. Hygeine is also one more major factor.

You have a lot of scope, I wish you all the best.

Regards - kamesh
