I have recently won a case against my suspension in year 2000. Court has ordered my organization to pay me salary from October 2000 to till date. Now I want to calculate my retro salary and submit to court in form of a chart. Can anybody help.

What is the normal practice for giving the increment?
What is the eligibility criteria for promotion?

I worked for a Co-op Sugar factory in Karnataka. Salary structure was 4th pay commission till 2007 and later I organization gave 5th pay commission to employees. Increment was on yearly Basis. I am not sure about promotion. We were paid Basic Salary, DA, HRA. I know the basic pay with increment BUT I am not sure how to calculate DA and HRA.
Can you please guide me in this matter.
