Hi All,
I am santosh working for a manufacturing unit, i have problem to be solved can somebody help me.
"one of our employee resigned though e-mail, we agreed to relieve verbally after 40days,(the notice period is 30days) but after competing 23 days, he wrote a mail that he will not be able to continue his service".
he is come for final settlement, how to go about it

Hi Santosh,
If it is mentioned in his appointment letter that he has to serve 30 days notice, then you can deduct his salry for the non-served days and make the f n f and tell him that. see it all depends on what your policies say.
