Your post is very excellent !!!! May I ask you something help from you?
Currently I am doing Project on "Attrition" in a big company. I need to prepare and submit report with the company. Can you make suggestions what I need to mention orderly?
Most of the project would start with such heads orderly as below:-
1.Executive Summary
2.Research Methodology
3.Profiles (Industry, Company and Product)
4.Data Analysis
But in "Profiles" What I need to mention?? It would be useful if you share information regarding researchs and journals about Attrition. I need to mention these info also..

Dear Surbhi,
Is attrition playing a role in the recession world?? At the start of 09 'Attrition' was the biggest bugbear with the employer whereas now the roles have reversed with 'recession' being used as a tool by employers/Company to get rid of the 'flab' and a nightmare with the employees driving a few of the faint hearted to suicide!!.
Do some Companies require to retrench?? thats the debate that needs addressing-my personal view?

Attrition management is right topic at this time to be discussed. Attrition management can be reduced / controlled by having a psychometric analysis/assessment during the interview time, and hiring the right employee who is having a right attitude.
Later on say after one year again the employee has to go through the psychometric tests. In this way, I hope some way or the other the attrition can be managed/controlled.
