hi all,
we are IT based company, we plan to hire contract base employees, this is new to us, my query is, what are the proceedures i need to follow for taking contract based employees for 3months, 6months, period, is that i need to full fill any leagal obligations before hiring contract employees, kindly suggest me

Dear Vasanthi
For appointing the employees on Contract base you must do all the recruitment procedures as like normal regular employees, but while issuing offer of employment and appointment letter you must make a contract agreement with him and obtain the signature from the employee for a period of maximum of 1 year only and on expiry of 1 year you can issue for new 1 year contract agreement with revised salary and oher allowances to the contract employees.
If you feel his performance is upto your satisfactory level, then you can induct in your regular pay rolls.

Hi baskar,
If we hire an employee for contract in basis of 1 yr , whether the employee absconded after 3 or 6 months, what action should we take against him, this is the question for ever i have...........kindly clarify
