Dear Sr. HR Members,
I left my last company 3.5 yrs back. They had not paid my 2.5 months salary yet after asking them so many times (verbally & via mail also). Infact they have not paid so many employees who lef the organisation. Via mail they said they will make provision and let me know. What should I do to get my due salary? could you please guide me.

Hi-Rakesh,
You should report the same to the concerned Assistant commissioner of Labour. It is mandatory for the employer to clear the wages to the employee with in a stipulated time after relieving if not so they shall be liable for punishment under payment of wages act. Why you ignored it for so long. Pl. attach the hard copoies of the communication received from the concerned employer and submit to the ACL with a request letter so that they will take necessary action.

Kamesh is right. you must speak to your local authority /Assistant commissioner of Labour and ask them to help you out. Give them complete details of your employment with them along with the documents such as Employment Letter, Salary Slip ...surely you will get the solution soon
