My company is based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. We have operations in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and are planning to expand our operations to Madhya Pradesh.

The Shop & Establishment Acts of these three states have the following rules for Leave:
- Uttar Pradesh: CL - 10; EL - 15; ML - 15
- Bihar: CL - 12; EL - 15; ML - 12
- Madhya Pradesh: CL - 14; EL - 30; ML - 00

CL - Casual Leave EL - Earned Leave ML - Medical Leave

Please advise on what should be the leave policy of our company?

The employees posted in the respective states should get the leaves as per the State Acts of the respective state. No uniform policy on leaves can be adopted in this case. Experts may shed light on this.
