Hi this is Sayed Vaseem plz tell me can we hire a person who,s brother is aleardy working in a same company.
From India, Gurgaon
Isn't it good if you get employees through internal reference?? I guess the only and the important criteria to be judged for hiring an employee should be his capability and potential for the reqd position, blood relation should not be a problem.

Mr. Sayed, I dont think you shud ask this question bcz if the candidate is skilled and deserve the job, there is nothing harm in hiring a relatives. Why you are considering a candidate, a relative of your present employee? And also its depend on your company policy if you have this kind of rule in your Organization.
Second, you want your manpower and the employees to achieve your Organization Goal and objectives based on skills, experience, qualification and merits, or what???? If a relatives of your present employee have good qualifications and well experienced, and deserve the job, then why he/she shud not be employed.
And if you will reject the candidature of someone just bcz he/she have a relative employed in your organization, that it wud be wrong and injustice with the candidate. And please avoid this "Bias & Prejudice" rule ...

Dear Waseem,
It depends on company's policy in this regard. But obviously, if risk involves then hiring of blood relatives can be avoided. In Banking industry; most of the Banks have this policy not to hire three people having blood relations in the bank as whole and not to hire more then one in each branch or department.
