Dear Mr. Mukesh,
I am working in Wipro & my 1 vendor is in Kanpur having no branch in India, we have some employees on Vendor's Payroll in UP & All over India. Now we want to get employees ESIC cards created but regional offices are asking for Sub codes. Pls tell me is this necessary for Vendor to get this Sub Code or ESIC card can be created without Sub code also.

According to the law it is not necessary to get sub-code but now these days the ESI Authorities is insisting to get sub code to the establishment. You please ask your vendor to get sub code for the employees deputed at different locations.

Hi Aparajita,
Your establishment not covered under purview of PF contribution. however the act is applicable to your unit but exclude to make any contribution and getting PF Code number. as a establishment it has to inform near by PF office thru proper communication.

If the employee is not willing to contribute providend fund and drawing salary more than 6500/- . Is there any declaration format for employer safeguard or PF act. has embodied any declaration format.

Thanks for sharing valuable information on PF and ESI. We are a software company based in Hyderabad with 60 employees all above the PF limit and few below Rs.15,000/- Is it mandatory for us to register for ESI.

Dear Sir,
I have a doubt, the minimum of Rs. 5 is payble only if the recovery is less than 5, when there is NO RECOVERY by virtue of the act itself being innaplicable as I do not have any employees (Rs 6,500 & below) why should we pay minimum & why should we register .. can you please throw some light with some court judgements etc...
