I have the opportunity to work in the Hotel Industry in Abuja... I am English, at the moment living in Spain.
Should I go or should I stay put.. this could be a great career move, I work within the design industry. Thanks!

I heard the situation in Nigeria is bit tuff and risky, as many people leaved that country.
But few still carrying there job, I think working in offshore for petroleum is more risky then Hotel.
if you know any one just ry to contact them and also first take security assurance from company where you going to join.
Its depend on you if you feel its safe and good, then go ahead or enquire before from others as well.

Please confirm before moving to Nigeria, because the Oil and Petroleum Company call letters are almost fake. The company mentioned in the address will be available in the designated address. But if you send some letters / courier then they will not receive the mail. Then they will conduct some formality type interview and they will tell you to pay some money initially for putting up your file and further if you got trapped then further they will start extracting money from you in one or other name. If you go and check then there will not be any person in the said embassy on the name what you are receiving the email.
So as said by Mr. M. Sayeed, please be cautious while taking the decision.
All the best
