Dear Riddhi,
Recruitment is the most important function in IT irrespective of other jobs which you were doing as IT is a line function.
You have to adopt to that situation.
My suggestiona are, you have to send all the resumes to your Australian Boss as a Soft copy and send the schedule of the interviews
in a Excel sheet with all details of the interview results and also in that mail, please highlight the reason for not selecting the candidate that shows your efforts.
Please dont depend on the consultant, go to Naukri or Times Job and start sourcing the candidate on your own. Please also ask your employees working in your Firm to refer candidates. Go for Campus interviews, advertise in IT Magazines, do the Head Hunting, ask the candidate who is coming for the interview to refer candidates, Check with recruitment consultants who were very good in Temp staffing and ask them to refer candidates who were working as Temp staff

Small story with a big message. One, especially an HR Manager, should think patiently before taking action. Good

Mr Gimsur,
I think ur CEO is very foolish person bcoz on previous day when he paid 15000 to boy and asked worker about who he was , he got ans that he was courier boy. Then when he met him the next, how can he again ask him to resign.
But also if forgets about previous day, he already said to boy that now dnt come here again, so when he came again why did he entereteined him.

Dear All,
Thanks for your positive receptions.
Only few members gone one step in depth and discussed about Logic and all.
I would like to say that, as a HR person and as a human being we have to learn a lot in the world to survive fittest. It is impossible to learn everything from our own experience and it is wise to learn from elders, books etc. You can gain knowledge in two way, either to follow or not to follow. The story posted in this session is one of the kind, wherein you can learn how to behave in a situation and not like the mentioned character. I hope it is clear.
Thanks and Wish you all a very happy dussehra festival.

Dear Mr.Payalagarwal,
Thanks for your reply.
It is all to expalin a funny situation with out going into the details of realistic situations. I also agree with you and which CEO in the world will be such foolish person who will again asked the courier person to resign. It is only my Imagination of a Funny story. Nothing else.
It is to enjoy and laugh at and at the same time there could be some message in it.
Don't take it otherwise as we are all busy in our day to day pressures and this type of communications
will make all of us ease.

Suresh

Well said short story that describes the fundamental and basic behaviour of human being. Lesson to be learned is to find out about the entire situation before taking action. Look Before You Leap is the best English phrase to describe it.
