Dear Seniors,
I have plans of starting a new BPO centre, my client is asking for a Company registration number. I dont know where to register the company, i guess it will be STPI, but i am not sure, so that just wanted to put on boad to discuss, please suggest me were to register the Company how to do, wht is required for it.

These registrations are necessary:
1. If it is a company - register with the Registrar of Companies.
After registration - obtain 'Commencement of Business' certificate.
2. Trade licence from Municipalty or Panchayat.
3. VAT registration with the Department of Commercial taxes.
Taking the help of a Chartered Accountant is considered necessary
