Dear forum,
i joined company on jul 2005. i claimed the LTA in march 06 and on Dec 09. My query is as follows
1) Can i claim LTA (taxable) till date from Apr 06?
2) Can i claim the medical in similar way?
3) What can i do if my employer do not entertain above request even though it is in agreement?
4) For claiming LTA/Medical my employer had made compulsary for submitting the proofs eventhough the SC ruling say no proofs to be collected from the employee. in absence of the proofs organisation will directly credit in the salary by taxing it. how can this be avoided?

LTA is in calender yr. You can't claim twice in a calender yr. Proofs are required only if u wish to avail tax exemption otherwise employer is bound to release the due LTA as taxable income.
