I need some help...
I just started working in a organisation where Hr-department doesnt exist and one hr assistant is doing paperwork and salaries under financial director.
Now I have been asked to make a new hr department, though i never done it before, and I need your help to do this.
Firs I need to make a new flowchart how do I see this department building in next 5-6 months. What are the essential keys to do so, and what should I have in mind. I need a timeline for next 5-6 months and wondering what is possible to make in that amount of time????

hello,its great tht ur assign for such a challenging task i can only suggest u 1st go for number of employees working in org,
2nd make a inspector or u himself start doing inspection
3rd acc,to ur org goal seprate each empy acc to his specification
so that u will b get more ways to slove this situation

First of all Congratulations , you have got a very good learning opportunity which only some of us get.
Start by collecting the current documents in place
Then do the following
1. Organization Sturcture : Hierarchy ( moreover you can try to prepare an excel sheet wherein the Job Responsbilities and KSA of all the employees)
2. Policies : Recruitment , Leave Policy, Travel Policy ( Domestic & International), Exit Policy, Probation and Confirmation Policy, Code of Conduct.

I wil tell you what i m currently doing
1 talk to all seniors can understand what is their priority. Bcz if you go on devlopong proper all hr processes than it is very tome consuming process. Likein my company the prioriy is recruitment for expansion
2 thentry to streamline those activity.
3 mean while prepare an activity list for all hr processes and check what is theor status with your company
4 then discuss with your head on completion period of these activties. And start one by one
His way you wll have your oger seniors also involved andit wont burden you and yiu will alo get their suport which is most imp fr hr
