Dear Shimit,
It would have been good and fair on your part to disclose the name of the author of the article and acknowledge his work.
For your gainful knowledge and all CITE HR members, iI would like to inform that this article was written by me years back and published in Current labour reports and other journals .
Posting any such article without acknowledgement of author is not fair and proper. It also amounts to breach of copyrights.
would you agree?

Hi Friends,

The Article is really worth.People managment is not only skill today its an art to win people.

Here I'm posting an incident by one of the gyan guru in TOI - Titled they said little - yet much.

"Once Mother Teresa was invited as chief guest at a conference of 500 personnel managers, and she was alloted 30 mins to speak as per the programme. She complained to the president of the conference saying," How much time does one requires to speak?' Perhaps 2-3 mins... After her introduction of about 15 mins, Mother Teresa got up to speak," I have not done any courses on personnel management,"She said."In fact all of you here will know far more on this subject than I do. But I just want to ask you two questions. The First,"DO YOU KNOW YOUR PEOPLE(EMPLOYEES)?Really Know them not just superficially?"She Asked. With A long pause, there was a second question,"DO YOU LOVE THEM,DO YOU REALLY HAVE CONCERN FOR THEM?"

With these two questions she ended her speech giving profound lessons of HR to HR community.

Thanks to gyan gurus for sharing such good incidents.

Thanks,

Majumdar B K.

Dear Shimit,
Thanks for your comments after our vigilant super moderator intervened which compelled you to comment.Initially you did not bother to clarify on my post.
Saying that you did not know who wrote the article, and did not mention about your writing the article appears to be a clever defence, because you also did not mention in your post that it was not your work.
can you pl. tell me the sites, from where you have picked up, where this article is floating without my name as author .
Shimit, one should have moral courage to accept the truth with humility which unfortunately , I find missing in your comments.
It would be good, if you post any material in future, pl. disclose about the person whose work is it or if you don't know, pl. clarify that also with source from where you have taken.

Dear Anil,
Lets end it here. You are talking about MORAL COURAGE to me. Let me just tell you one thing that i have already excepted my fault about posting this article without your permission. You should not comment anybody's moral courage.
Now, I would just like to end this here itself so that both of our relations should not get spoiled with citehr & its Moderators. Its a HR site in which we share things with our Professionals, whe are not here to fight for recognition for what we have written or posted.
With due respecte to you, its a genuine request that we both, as a good citehr member, should end this thing here itself.
Thanks & Regards
Shimit
