In India the Legally required registers are maintained by IR Department in respect of Manpower, RTO Related Matters and vehicle documents, etc.
There is no specific register for EHS Department. The EHS Department has only to coordinate for the required registers.
About the Plants & Machinery concerned registers are to be maintained by the concerned people.
The EHS Requirement will vary from Industry to Industry and state to state and it may be different even state and central government.
Please clarify and be specific about your requirement and raise your querry accordingly.

what is a process to identify the leagal requirements for a pertiqular industry, say for eg. a chemical industry or a process automation industry. i mean to say how can we know that this are the total leagal requirements that we need to fulfill at the initial stage?
I mean to say is there any leagal register?
or what is a leagal register?
