Hi Nidhi,
SAP HR/ERP/People Soft are good filed and there is lot of scope in this. Tech. is playing key role in business and HR dept is also going through automation in most of the organisation having hands on SAP/ERP is edge over others but you should do certification from good organization in market many fake institutes are there so be careful.

  • There is no any specific eligibility for learning SAP HR. Obviously one needs to have some knowledge and liking for the subject he/she wants to learn.
  • SAP Training institutes are purely commercially run organizations and they offer training to anybody and everybody who will pay them their hefty fees.
  • Point here is, will you be able to understand and implement HR concepts and ideas, without formally learning them or without having any experience of them.
  • Your aim would be to seek a relevant job after completing SAP HR Training by paying hefty fees. Mind you, you will be competing with all those who have done two years full time post-graduation in HR and/or those who are also having years of working experience of HR field. Choice is yours.

I have worked 2 years in Australian SAP HR. On that basis i got indian Payroll SAP in reputed company and getting good pay. I feel one need not do the cirtification but if you get a chance to work on SAP Its better you learn as much as you can. SAP is same allover the world only the components deffers as per different country's Payroll requirements.

  • SAP Course is not at all a necessity. It is only a addition to your knowledge.
  • To get exact idea about the SAP Course just contact any of the numerous SAP Training Institutes in your city. They are too willing to give all kind of information to sell their course.
  • please understand that SAP knowledge can be put to direct use only where SAP is being used or being implemented.
  • As regards job prospects after completing SAP Course : I feel freshers and people with less than 2 years experience will not have any advantage in job market.
  • Any employer will always prefer someone with good practical experience in HR coupled with SAP knowledge.
  • My suggestions : Only those with 2+ years practical HR experience should think of doing SAP Course.
  • Fees for SAP Course is very high. Please think about ROI (return on investment) even if your daddy is paying your fees.
