Hello Meena
I am not a senior to guide you. But I have done my M.Sc in Applied Psychology.
I would suggest that you go for some specialization in counselling. If you want to make a career in counselling, why go for Applied Psychology??
You can go for M.A.Counselling Psychology or any PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. I believe Annamalai University has those course also.
Or you can go for Madras University. The courses are recognised.
Hope this helps.

dont forget to check out the courses offered by "Indian school of applied behavioural sciences", hauz khas delhi surya
