Hi All,

I had an interview on Skype last week and was selected. They informed me that they would send me the letter this week, but I have not received it yet. Therefore, I am considering sending them a request to provide me with an offer as per our discussion. I am confused about how to write or request it. Could you please send me the format?

Thanks

Dear Muzokh,

You need to send a follow-up email/letter to the HR Dept. See the sample below:

To - HR Dept
Company Name

Dear Sir,

Subject: Request for Offer Letter for Position ()

I was interviewed by you on (date) for the position of (Title). This email is a follow-up in case you require any additional information.

During our discussion, you mentioned that I would receive an offer letter by the weekend, but I have not received it yet. Could you please assist me in obtaining the offer letter or let me know if you need further information?

I am keen on working for your company and believe that I am well-suited for the position. Your consideration in this matter would be highly appreciated.

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you.

Thank you for the reply; I really appreciate it. I have one more query. My interview was conducted by the Managing Director of the company, and he informed me that he would send me an offer letter next week. Therefore, I need to know whether I should send the letter to HR or directly to the Managing Director. During the interview, he mentioned that if I have any queries or questions, I should contact him.

Furthermore, he mentioned that I can expect to receive the offer letter next week. Can I modify your provided sentence like this: "I am going to receive an offer letter by next week"?

One more thing, if I send an email, after "Regards," do I need to sign it electronically or just leave 2 or 3 blank lines and write my name?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Zuhair
