Dear Friends, I just have on what amount EDLI admin charges (.01 % ) has to be calcultated. Is it on PF wages or on EPS Wages? Regards, Mithun

yes edli admin charge calculated on pf wages.It is .01%. if total basic is 100000 then edli admin chrge is =100000*.01% regards suraj saini

EDLI Admin charges are to be calculated on total Basic salary suject to basic salary of employee limited to Rs 6500/-. many people may argue that it is same as EPS salary but , now there may turn out to be a case where an employee has crossed the age of 58 year. for that employee EPS is not applicable but EDLI is.

I would like to inform u that EDLI admn charges is payable @ .01% on Pay ( Basic+DA ) upto Rs. 6500/= only.
Pl. do not consider EPS wages for it, as there may be an employee who has crossed the age of 58 yrs and not be the member for EPS.
