I have got (downloaded) the stock register which is created by Siddharth Singh. Can you please explain about the opening stock and closing stock in this stock register. By whom will the opening stock and closing stock be inputted in the stock register? - Storekeeper OR both storekeeper and accountant? And when?

Storekeeper or stores in chance is responsible to make entries in the stock register. Stock register could be either in the format of book or in the format of some software.
Most of the softwares have got facility to update the balance as and when some issue takes place and as and when some inward entry takes place. I don't think accountant has any role in store-keeping.
