What !! After completing the MBA you should concentrate on your achievements in current organization . Still you can look for Private Training or PHD Degree in HR.

First I wanna congratulate you and wish for your bright future. Second I want you to go to my old post and find the concept of “My 7 Stars of HR” here I have mentioned few weblinks of Post and discussion held on CiteHR by the member including my theory on “My 7 Stars of HR” i.e. Staffing, Performance Appraisals, Compensation and Benefits, Training and Development, Employee and Labor Relations, Safety and Health, and Human Resource Research.

And study them sincerely. And I want you to read this because to get you a understanding of HR functions which will help you more in your learning …

About Course..you have done your MBA in HR so now you can go for SAP-HR courses which is the latest demand of HR world and as well as will enhance your skills. Also you are working as a HR Executive for a Manufacturing company presently, and I wud say this is a good start for you and I appreciate that you are keen to learn more about your area of function and ready to study more on that.

Now you need to grab all the things are going on your around and keep open your eyes and mind for this and learn the things by observing from others

Dear Karunya...
I would like appreciate your interest in studies…. Yes, you are on the right track…try to do Psychology or MSW or Labor Law or diploma course in Training & Development because we need to be very strong in forthcoming days as a very powerful young generation is coming to compete our generation with respect to knowledge & skills.
Lokesh has also made a very good comment is that after MBA you should concentrate on your achievement in your current Org… yes, you should also learn a lot in your current org as theoretical knowledge alone can not import all you need.
Learn Learn Learn as much as possible…Learning has no end….Good Luck
Thanks.

Hi,
If you are so particular that you need to get another degree in HR field then you can go for PGDHRM( Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management) which is provided by various universities in Regular as well as Distance. If you are looking for Distance Education I would suggest that you take up the course provided by IGNOU. The fees is just 5000/- and the duration is 1 year.
Also since you are experienced in the relevant industry then you can go for EXECUTIVE MBA provided by Various universities. If you are going for it the you can choose the MANIPAL University.
