How to start a new training business
Dear members: this forum is doing an excellent job in exchanging ideas. thanks to all for being so generous in sharing ideas and resources. i am working in the middle east and am planning to return to india by early next year. i am not a training professional i am into it. i am very passionate about training. i am very keen to establish a training institute in india. the options i am considering are list1 be a franchise of an established training company list setup own training rooms and other infrastructure trainers to be employed fulltime. start a training center that can provide 100s of training programs list mainly corporate programs list programs to be conducted in a hotel or at client premises bring freelance trainers for various programs depending on need. be a freelance trainer. list i myself to conduct a few training programs conducts programs in a hotel or through schools/colleges i have zero experience in running a business and have only limited experience in conducting training programs. which of the above would be a good model? what is the scope of such a business? what are the risks/challenges? i would really appreciate any ides/suggestions/advices you can share. thanks in advance mathew jacob

Hello friends it s enthralled to have a gathering of so many hr professionals over here where we get chance to exchange our ideas and views. sometime we hr s get structed whenever it comes to employee welfare. friends same is the situation i am facing i am working with an it company where we deals with internal as well outsourcing employees. infact we have initiated some employee engagment activities through the way motivational forum superb saturday contest as well training and development. now after implementating all the above we welcome suggestions from everyone as it will double our thoughts and we would be able to come up with new ideas. also suggest engagement activities for the outsourcing employees with whom we can not meet. friends if we will share oneone suggestion then we might get cluster of new opinions. so do revert as it is about employee s. regards rachna
