Employee leaves the job and joins another organisation..
Dear all i have a situation wherere an employee joines another organization without submitting the resignation to the first employer. the first employer comes to know about it and tries to follow up with the employee. the employee is not bothered about it and doesn t turn up. in this case what an employer can do to the exemployee who s still an employee. now my query on this is : can an employer go legal against that employee? how the employee can be punished so that he doesn t do this with any other employer? if an employee is at a junior position i.e. a sales person in a retail shop goes away with uniform id card etc. and he does this then what an employer can do to the employee. please revert.

Hi all i am raj working as associate in human resource department i would like to know how to stop employee from resignation. i know there there will be different reason for the employee to resign but i want to know how should i approach that particular employee and convince him to stay with me. for example: if an employee doesn t want to share the exact reason for resigning in that case what should i be doing ?

To keep the explanation short from an hr process perspective when we provide details to an employee regarding his hr benefits we may be putting in efforts to create employee satisfaction but when he expresses his dissatisfaction for a certain feature of the process or suggests an improvement we may be engaging the employee to improve our process. thus it seems that more than employee satisfaction it may be employee engagement that converts into more profits for the company. employee satisfaction is still a critical need but it seems employees feel more empowered when they feel that they are adding value with their thoughts and views to the organisational processes. the question nowadays is on whether companies treat employee satisfaction and employee engagement as two different aspects or as the same factor.
