I have 5+ yrs of experience as Quality Engineer in Automobile Industry. I also worked in HR Department in the current company from past one year but officially I am in QA Department. Recently I have completed MBA in HR. Now I am looking a job in HR field. In my resume I also updated my roles & Responsibilities in HR. I have submitted my resume to 3 companies in which they are telling they need Experience exclusively in HR. Please help me what I can do?

Hello Raghavendra B R,
Your case is a typical 'chicken & egg' story.
The best bet for you to retain your overall experience & also take advantage of you MBA would be to request/manage a transfer to HR within your current company. If it takes time to materialize, better persist until you find a way.

Hello Raghavendra B R,
In addition to someone leaving--for a vacancy to occur--it could also result when the company grows. So just check out by what you know about the company plans.
Amother possibility could be if you can manage the Experience Letter as HR since you are in this dept CURRENTLY--with your role being in HR dept.
And whether you like it or not, when applying for outside companies, the experience weightage will be only for the period you are in HR dept. So you would loose much of your exp in QA--in terms of salary fixation, position, etc. But the knowledge you gained there will come in handy when you handle recruitment.
Rgds,
TS
