Hi,
Anybody can give me an idea?
-what should the company do first to punish an employee if they absent without reasonable excuse
Exmp:1 action is to remind or verbal warning, which is come first?
-Company wanted all employees to do overtime always at last minute once they receive order from customer, 1 or 2 hours before finish work, than most of the employees refuse to do overtime. What can I do as HR Person?
Please advice.
TERIMA KASIH.

1. It depend upon the past performance of employee, if he is good it will be good to understand his problem and advise him not to repeat the same in future. If he is habitual give him written warning and if he doesn't improve you can take discplinary action in the reference of warning letter.
2. You have to convey the same problem to marketing persons to give the target well in time so that you can convey the same to your employees because its natural that employees have planned their schedule after finish there work and its difficult to manage them. Secondly, you can convey the growing position of the company and market values and its future benefits for the employees. I m sure this will be enough to motivate them and they will do their work sincerly.

Exmp:1 action is to remind or verbal warning, which is come first? -Prior to that understad why they are late what company can do for these employees for not to come late.
-Company wanted all employees to do overtime always at last minute once they receive order from customer, 1 or 2 hours before finish work, than most of the employees refuse to do overtime. What can I do as HR Person? - Who conveys you to make people work for overtime?
Please ask this person to not to ask for overtime at limt minute
2) What incentives the worker / employee do get for doing overtime?

1. Try to speak to employee frankly and know the real reason of being late and make him understand that it is not acceptable to company. After that employee's supervisor can give a written warning which i think will work...
2. You can give time flexibility to the employees who are ready to work overtime. - Time flexibility means they can come little late next day or so.. This again depends on management approvals
