In case of PB -3
Salary will be Substantiate (15600) + Grade Pay (8000) + Other pay what ever applicable on the eg (DA(51% of (Substantiate +GP)), HRA, MA etc will be your gross minus(-) the deductions = Net payment.
Substantiate increases annually and grade pay increase when there is promotion.
Substantiate increases upto the higest level (ie 39100 )
