Now my salary is rs. 15015/- its above of esi limit but my hr manager said as per rules if we are deducted esi in april then upto sep we have to deduct ITS TRUE???

why did he deduct ESI when your salary is more then ceiling? did you get this salary increment in may/june?

Hi, my salary crossed 15000Rs per month but the ESI has been deducted ( Rs 315 ).I heard that if the salary crosses 15000Rs per month then the ESI cannot be deducted.Can anyone please clarify why the ESI has been deducted ??

Hi, My increment done in july 2011 & crossed 15000Rs, but the ESI has been deducted (Rs315) in July month salary.I heard that if the salary crosses 15000Rs per month then the ESI cannot be deducted.Can anyone please clarify why the ESI has been deducted ??

hi The ESI return submission cycle is half yearly like this April to september and october to march.
As per ur statement u have got increment in July-11.U are in the return submission cycle period from April to septemebr.As per ESI act if we cut ESI for a month in any cycle we have to pay ESI for entire 6 months even ur salary crosses the limit 15000/- in july in that cycle.
Ur ESI will not be cut from Octobr-11 any way.
