Dear Ruchir Shah

that's true,
once contribution is paid for a period then it is compulsory to pay till the end of contribution period untill unless the employee resigns or leave the job.
so dear you have to pay your esi contribution till 30 sep 11 and from 01st oct 2011 you will be out of coverage.

In my opinion, the employer's will get relief from the Workmen compensation Act and Maternity Benefit Act... Hence their share is more than the employee........
further being employer its his responsibility to look after the welfare of their employees, for a better productivity.......

If the person having his gross salary rs. 15,000 / -p.m and he is getting less than that because his absentisum will not be applicable for esic because esic will applicable to those person whos gross(means standard salary) is less than 15,000.
