Hi Seniors,
I am into vendor management role, recently team decided to do perfomance evaluation for our current 30 vendors ( manpower suppliers).
Kindly suggest me some good parameters to guage there performance.
And also pls suggest some steps to take if vendors are extremely perfoming well and also extremely bad.

Don’t you have a vendor evaluation form when doing any purchases order from 3 vendors and evaluate them why don’t you use the criteria there as basis for your vendor Performance appraisal. Use parameters/ criteria such
- delivery efficiency
- Payment cycle
- Response time
- Quality of product
- After service follow up – machinery
- Maintenance

I am evaluating them on below mention critaria
  1. % Hike
  2. Level of hiring (Senior Vs Junior Positions)
  3. Type of Hiring (Niche Vs Generic)
  4. Joining Ratio
  5. On boarding time
  6. Selection ratio
  7. Time to respond
  8. In case of SLA is set--- % of adherence of SLA
  9. Position shared Vs Position worked on.
