The Employment Card (Form XIV) to be issued by the contractors to the workmen engaged by them and not the Principal employer. That's the reason I gave the reply not to issue any appointment letter.

I do not have any objection on your opinion. As the member is requiring this format on behalf the contractor & only for his reference I have given my opinion.Employment Card form No. may differ from state to state if appropriate Govt. is the state Govt.
